Do you sometimes understand the Chinese text, but don’t know how to read it out loud?
Are you sometimes not confident that your Pinyin pronunciation is correct?
Google has provided some tools that can help you in Chinese learning…
Chrome Speak can read aloud any selected piece of text within the browser. It uses the native text to speech feature of the operating system (Windows, Mac OS X, and Chrome OS). Just let it roll after selecting text and right clicking on the browser page and clicking on Read the selected text. Click on Stop reading to stop the voice over.
In Google Doc, the Voice Typing feature (on Tool menu) can convert your voice to text. It saves your time typing, and is also a good tool for you to test your pronunciation when you are learning a language.
